I was the lot boy from Jun 1960 to Sep 1962 while I was in my junior and senior year at Hawthorne High. I did all the little odd jobs like sweeping and cleaning until I got my drivers license and then took customers to work and picked them up afterward, and eventually learned to drive the tow truck alone and go pick up cars and bring them to the shop. Doing a little research, it looks like they were at 120th and Hawthorne, in Hawthorne, CA (121st doesn't cross Hawthorne).
